What is an MCCA fee?
The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association.  This is a fee the state of Michigan requires all insurance companies doing business in our state to collect from each insured, for each vehicle on the insureds auto policy and send it to the state to cover medical bills resulting from an uninsured bodily injury auto accident.
The MCCA fee went up in June 2009, about ten more dollars per vehicle.
